About the West Baden Historical Society

Founding

The West Baden Historical Society was created to establish, promote, and encourage historical, literary, artistic, and educational purposes within the West Baden and French Lick area. The society is organized to serve the communities for the benefit of maintaining historical and structural heritage.

Barbara F. Habig founded the West Baden Historical Society in 1988 with co-founders Harriett Brown and Mary Jean Batemen.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month March—December at 7:00 pm. Currently, the Society meets at the Pleasent View Apartements Community Room (map) in West Baden.

Guests are always welcome!
